Tools FlashMobs

Interested in trying a web 2.0 tool that could help connect people, ideas and information in your community? As you take breaks between program offerings, join us for a tool "flashmob*." We'll spend ten minutes on introducing and demonstrating the tool, ten minutes on experimentation and hands-on use and ten minutes on questions and debrief. Bring your laptop, iPad, digital camera, cell phone and curiosity!
These flashmobs are designed to give you just enough experience to play with the tools on your own during and after the conference... and maybe even share some conference happenings while you're still there!
  • Flashmob: A flash mob (or flashmob) is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then disperse. The term flash mob is generally applied only to gatherings organized via telecommunications, social media, or viral emails. The term is generally not applied to events organized by public relations firms, protests, and publicity stunts . From: Wikipedia
